You Know What's the Scope of Their Influence?

Some of the best engineers I've worked with would never go to a conference. They share their knowledge with like people they're mentoring at work. You just want to do your job and go home at the end of the day but yeah so they're influencing a few people. And that's that's probably like the you know the the majority of people in the field who have not read a software engineering book for five years or whatever. It does feel a little bit sometimes like we're trying to pull the ladder up as we as we climb it.
