What Are Your Thoughts About Technical Strategy Games?

Zach: I very much come from Final Fantasy tactics, tactics over advanced wars to a degree sort of background. A lot of our design decisions came from wanting to solve the things that we dislike about a genre that we generally do like. And so it was a high priority to remove both of those sort of slow boring moments in the gamethat we neither one of us liked. That's for example how we ended up with these just drop immediately after you start battle and then each battle just ends before it gets boring.
