The Importance of Memory Palaces
I think the regrets come from not doing something more often than doing it. Do you know anything about memory palaces? I'm not an egg-cooked memory crumb master, but shall I explain what a memory palace is? It's based on the idea that just playing to the strengths of the human mind, we're really good at remembering locations and places. There's so much information encoded in our knowledge of space because it's so important to us. We can use that knowledge of space to associate with things that we need to remember. So one example would be remembering lists of things.
