Jesus is intentionally saying, this moment that that we are in is exactly like the moment that all the prophets have been in. He's sending message to his people who have turned away from him. They think they're just fine, and they don't recognize that the prophetic word is speaking to them. The thing that's happening with god's kingdom is not actually going to make sense to most of these people. For whoever has to one more will be given, like you.
