Mixing for People - Is Your Mix Harsher Than Yours?

I used to extremely dislike mixed by all these mixes. I actually did not like him as a mixer at all. But in the last few years, he's changed my mind. There's something you can learn from it. For example, someone that tends to mix harsher, usually their mixes are louder than yours. That's the thing you're going to learn. Sometimes when you're mixing for people and you think, oh, they're rough mixes really harsh. And then you turn it in, they're like, I feel like mine was louder though.
