How to Reframe Certain Films

I found it a really interesting way to reframe certain films I've watched recently so like a film like Atlantic's which is about Senegalese immigrant workers and but then there's this kind of like Gothic thing in there where midway through the film. Tom Hardy film called Lock takes place mostly with him within his car taking phone calls so he's like a contractor on a construction site. It plays this metaphor of like if you have a crack in the foundation of cement that it can multiply into all of these other problems based on my reading of concrete.
