Is There a Need for the Private Sector to Help in the Electoral Process?
There's always tension jut over what to do when elections are beyond just imperfect, but fundamentally flaw it sounds like sub seheran africa has made progress in this regard. What principles, what practical actions, do you recommend for us policy makers dealing with these flawed elections? I think that we could be doing a better job with listing the private sector to help. The private sectoris affected by bad elections as much as the average citizen. There are opportunities for us to work with a broader set of actors beyond just the electoral commission and political parties.
