Apple Announces End to End Encryption for iOS 16.2

Apple is releasing in this new update to the software end to end encryption, meeting that your iCloud backups for everything except for mail contacts and calendars are all going to be encrypted on their cloud. So it's going to kind of end that reputation that that Apple can unlock your backups. It also makes it much more difficult for law enforcement to just put in a subpoena and say, Hey, we need to check this person's account. And look at look through the data.
