There's no indication that this law meets its original goal, which is reducing obesity. No jurisdiction has reduced its rates of fatness or fat people at a population level. Will new menu items be smaller restaurants? No one said that in two thousand eight when they were passing this stuff. It's honestly incredible to me that anyone would look at literally anything that america is doing at this point and be like, let's make our country closer to that.
