The Future of Clothes
The way we make materials for clothes is a huge worldwide problem. Much of it is made with polyester, a fabric you might have heard of. It takes about 300 years for polyester to go away in the environment. If everything's made of biomaterials, when that product reaches the end of its lifespan, or if you lose some of it, it gets torn and goes down the drain.
