How to Get the Most Out of Your First Therapy Session

The best way to figure out which type of therapy treatment is best for you is to talk with a mental health professional. While talk therapy can help with emotions and emotional regulation, it won't help with ad h d skils specifically. So go into that first session treating it like a consultation. The most important thing is finding the right person for you. And remember, therapy will often push you out of your comfort zone so it can be uncomfortable at times. But the right therapist is going to help you through that.
