The Battle of the Zab

The battle of the zab took place in al andelus, north africa. The result was the defeat of the umads by the abasid caliphate. One of the great leaders who helped overthrow the umads was a persian called abu muslim. Abu muslim was executed on ambiguous grounds of being a heretic to true islam. A man called abd al raman tried to drumming up support for his cause from an area that wasn't fully accepted of him.
