The Different Modalities of CRRT
CRRT is just like continuous renal replacement therapy, right? So this just means it runs like all day. CVVH is hemodialysis, which is meaning you're an osmotic gradient to clean the blood. And then you can do HDF, which is both of those things. There's not really one that's better than the other. It's just like, what does your institution want to do? Personally, I like a CVVHDF just because it's the most flexible sound.
