Introduction

On April 10th, President Joe Biden signed a bill from Congress immediately ending the COVID-19 national emergency. The end of the national emergency means the end of some blanket waivers for federal health programs that were intended to help healthcare providers at the height of the pandemic. Dr. Ostrom will also talk about the FDA's recent announcements on the bivalent vaccine and abided administration plan to accelerate development of new coronavirus vaccines and treatments.
