Lenin's Vision of a Working Class
Lenin argues that focusing only on the economic struggle and trade unionism isn't enough. We have to understand how the state functions and capitalism, he says. And we need to be working in all of those spheres in order to have a totalizing and holistic criticism of capitalism. The vanguard must look to all aspects of society, the ideological, the political and even the clerical - this is what Lenin calls for.
