Masks Aren't a Single, It's Not a Binary Variable, Right?
The more people are wearing masks, the less important your own masks quality is for protecting you. When enough people wear them, we do see a measurable improvement in infectious disease rates. Even if masks only reduce the amount of exhaled pathogen by 10%. That's still 10% fewer possible contact opportunities.
