The band were still living in San Francisco at the time. Andy had moved even further north towards Petaluma, where Tom Waits had his studio. He bought a computer that allowed them to have some of the first sequencing software. And every day I would write and bring Andy ideas and what we would demo up at his house. So is that how Russian Hill comes about? Yeah.
