Sleep and Memory Enhancement

Sleep researchers have learned of the importance that sleep has for the consolidation of short term memories into long term memories. Exercise also results in increased levels of a specific marker that originates in brain tissue and is associated with increased nerrow plasticity. Another important question relates to how much of a role does regular exercise have on improving memory. But we don't yet have studies on this.
