You're an experienced negotiator. What are some of the best practices to use during a negotiation, especially when making really important, high stakes, long term decisions? I think in negotiation, several things work well. Three points i will mention. The one is surprisingly silenc when you employ silence in a negotiation,. When you just go silent and just listen, most people are extremely uncomfortable with silence.
