What Kind of Regime Can Calipolis Turn Into?
For the ancient Greek political thinkers, Calipolis isn't an oligarchy. The reason is that there isn't enough private wealth concentrated in the hands of a small elite. Plato thinks Timocracy will be the first step after peak Calipolis. It's only when rulers can convince warriors to be their allies in virtue that they don't take over.
