China is not trying to overthrow the dollar. China is simply trying to create a fair, multipolar international architecture for currency transactions that doesn't give any one currency access value. Many other countries are also doing this at the same time. Russia's trading in its own currency. India's beginning to trade Argentina. Saudi Arabia is right now that you mentioned earlier, the petrodollar. I think we just want to move away, not just China, but other countries, they don't want to be there and have their hands tied by the dollar.
