Russia could make less gas available to the peans. That that is the threat. And were that to happen, the europeans would then have to go into other markets to find the gas and then those prices would rock it. This is really unusual behavior, because one of the justifications for the otherwise rather inexplicable dependence of europe on russia in recent decades has always been they are reliable suppliers. So far, as of now, Gas is flowing through the pipe lines of ukraine to the west even as a full scale invasion is taking place.
