I wouldn't be surprised that the personalities on either end do reach some type of cord. It just might be extremely messy and take a long time before they do so. I think we shouldn't underestimate Kevin McCarthy. Conversely, Biden unclear what he wants. Democrats have felt betrayed by Biden on the COVID emergency and on crime legislation in DC. We might have to go through a lot of turmoil to get there.
