How Long Meditation Makes You Want Less?

Two week mindfulness meditation produces less mind wandering, better focus and better working memory. The most interesting finding to me is that a portion of the brain called the nucleus acumbens shrinks and becomes less active. We're strained to beable to test different meditation systems against each other. For example, loving kindness and compassion meditation seems to work better as a treatment for p t s d than other forms.
