Madam Vanessa: I was just listening to your episode about the second book when you were discussing why Dumbledore didn't send the kids home after the Basilisk attacks. We also know that the students who come from wizarding families would probably be able to keep up with their studies because their parents could help them with assignments. However, students from Muggle households would have to work on their assignments by themselves and may struggle more. And obviously, Harry would struggle a lot because the dursleys would probably lock up his books. This reminded me of a COVID pandemic when teachers were deciding whether or not to send students home.
