The Dangers of Education
Tara's experience of education was dangerous in the sense that some aspects of being opened up to new ideas almost by definition were deeply challenging. Tara: I would be a little anxious about what it would be like to turn up into a university now with the beliefs that I had when I did. But I'm also grateful that there were still a handful of people that I did meet at Cambridge who are willing to engage with me as a human being flawed with my upbringing, she says.
