The high borian age is the age of the world that Conan takes place in. Hyperborea was spoken about by Madame Blavatsky and the other Theosophists a lot. At one point Howard specifically describes Sumerians and Conan as Dolikosophallic like he uses the word Dolikosphallic which is such a key word for that whole era.
