The Characteristics of the Early Christian Celebrities
The first name that comes to mind for my generation would be Billy Graham. All of those men, to one degree or another, and especially Graham, were very pragmatic in their embrace of the tools of media. But there was a sense for all of those men that going to church is not enough. You need to have a real born again experience with Jesus.
