The Abandonment of Eruidu
Eruidu was abandoned several times and finally abandoned for good in 600 BC. Phwad Zafara excavated Eruidu and found evidence of occupations there going back thousands of years. The oldest temple may be as old as the city itself but over time larger structures were built on top expanding the size of the site. However after this the city was suddenly and abruptly abandoned and was never restored to its former glory.
