The Importance of Rotation in ESEM
The reliance of results on rotation is not inherently a limitation of the procedure. You can have a geomin rotation for certain types of models, a targeted type rotation, and a targeted orthogonal kind of rotation as well. It is entirely in the hands of the analyst to make the choice and interpret the results.
