The Name of the Sourcerar, Bar Jesus
The name of the sourcerar, bar jesus, does not seem to be the same word as elam bar Jesus. Why is he called elemus? What's going on there? How do you get from barjesus to elemus? And what's the significance of these names? That is one question to consider. Another question is, what sort of play is going on with pool's name? Should we focus upon the mean ning, which means small? Perhaps he is called that because he is the least of the appossils,. Not worthy to be called an appossl because he persecuted the church.
