How to Redirect the Autopilot to a Higher Airspeed
The autopilot increased the pitch up attitude and reduced power to the plane because it's reading the higher airspeed. The captain decided to try to reduce thrust because he thought they were flying too fast as his speed or his airspeed indicator was showing a much faster speed. And at this point, the stick shaker starts going off - which normally activates when the plane's about to stall.
