The Power of Longterm Satisfaction in Game Design
The personality model and the longterm satisfaction model were combined to help with game design. The combination of those things suddenly a bunch of confusing arguments that are that my design team would, was having with each other just disappeared. This smoothed out a bunch of stuff. It prevented us from making a bunch of mistakes. And it allowed me to communicate with the marketing team ahead of time about what we were making.
