There's something about the writing of something that comes from you, and physically converting it to a piece of paper that can be read. So there's that ability to give you perspective on it that you don't have when you're just thinking about it. I m one of the reasons that i want people to write is so that after they're gone, their children can pull a letter out of a drawer and say, she lives.
