The Sustainable Ground Water Management Act of California

The sustainable ground water management act passed in 20 14 and really started to take effect right in 20 20, the first plans were put into place. California was the last western state to adopt state wide regulation for ground water. The law also puts in ga guard rails, saying, in while you are implementing this, you cannot cause significant undesirable effects to other ground water users. And so if you're causing people's drinking water sources to go dry, that's a problem, a red flag, and you're going to have to do something about it.
