Integrating External Systems

We're actually using an external system all the time so that we don't have to think about it. To obtiatly function in terms of an external system, it actually has to be integrated and you have to be able to trust it. An integrated system produces an experience of flow much greater than its parts. As technology changes,. an operating room has to change its systems about what technology do we pay attention to?
