The Cold War and the North Korean Nuclear Crisis

In late 1991, the H.W. Bush administration withdrew all of those nukes from South Korea. It also suspended war games against North Korea that were known as Team Spirit. The West fears the North is taking plutonium from its nuclear power plant to make bombs. But IAEA says the North has removed fuel rods and destroyed evidence of past plutonium diversion.
