Putin's Commitment to Russia
A Wagner-affiliated Russian millblogger posted an interview with a Bela-Russian Wagner fighter wherein the fighter claimed that Wagner had opened a new combat direction in Belarus. The idea that Belarus might become a jumping off point into Ukraine for Wagner is something that has occurred to many of our listeners. Meanwhile, in Moscow Putin is ostensibly in full control. But it's clear that though the immediate crisis may be over, the situation has changed markedly for the worse for Putin and for the first time voices are questioning his competence.
