I think it really depends on where you were trained, where you did your MDiv and the kinds of thinkers that you were engaging with. I'm surprised when I run into people with MDivs who haven't read Dolores Williams. The manuscript for the Hagar book is called Reimagining Hagar, Blackness and Bible. And you might think that this would be the follow-up to an introduction to womanist biblical interpretation. But no. You're a crafty thing there. That's not what it is.
