How to Make a Limited Edition Print
This has been going on ever since prints were made, limited edition prints. You could always cheat, but it's not honoring the contract. There was an artist that I saw at designer con named Brian Reedy who does these amazing woodcuts or linoleum cuts in an old Albrecht Durer style. They're modern stuff like Superman or 20th century comic book figures. And he seems to be really making a business out of this.
