What's the Difference Between a Cognitive Distortion Versus a Delusion?

What's the difference between a, a cognative distortion verses a delusion? Well, i i think tat it would be more useful to compare a cognitive distortion to a hallucination. I mean, you could argue that a delusion is a cognitive distortion. But a delusion is like long lasting. It'll last relamonth or like longer. There is actually one specific one in delusional disorder, one sub type that's interesting, called a rado mania um. And that's when people have like an unhealthy level of attachment to a figure of higher status who doesn't know that they exist.
