It also appears in shakespeare's dedication of the rape of lucrece and then it says, this eternity promised by our ever living poet. What is this eternity? Is it eternal life, or immortality through the poemsright? That seems to make sense. But the phrase also clearly has strong religious overtones. And that can mean someone who goes on an adventure, right? An an adventurer setting forth is hinted at, right?
