Nearly 1,000 people showed up to a cornfield near Raven's Wood West Virginia in 1910. They thought it was their only chance to see a steamboat in the middle of a field. But as it would turn out, they didn't really need to go rushing to the field. A boat like that sure does belong on the river. Definitely not in a cornfield.
