The NHS

The NHS was introduced in 1946 by a politician named Annurin Bevin, and it actually came about as a result of the soldiers fighting in World War II. The idea was that they were going to provide a health care that was free at the point of delivery,. That's still the mantra towards the NHS in the first place. Of course, the moment you create a service that’s free at the points of delivery, if you understand economics, is you immediately distort the supply and demand curve.
