The Rise and Fall of the Modest Fashion Industry
I was struck by the great range of possibilities for British Muslim women in the fashion industry. I wanted to go back to what I mentioned at the very start, understanding the everyday strivers within the modest fashion industry. There's some attention that's given to the huge success of just a small handful of people within the industry. So you see the same sort of Muslim icons that receive visibility but don't really hear about the day to day work that sun's taken back of house.
