Is There a Risk Tolerance Management Tool?

Six months delay to up date is a way of doing some risk tolerance management. A maintainer has their own kind of policy around, ok, this is how often we're going to pull in these security up dates or what have you. That might not aline with the consumers of that package and in what they expect ad need as well. You know, we always try to push, i think, like aur bias towards like, pushing new and being like, very future oriented. And i don't understand why, like, why do we all feel the need to be on the bleeding edge?
