Venture Capitalists Will Gladly Let a Lot of Their Companies Fail
In the average v c portfolio, there's a big middle of companies that are just not going to grow any further than they've already grown. They're not losing money, they maybe make a small amount of money, and they're accomplishing some good for the world. Its just never going to be big. Maybe the leadership doesn't have a vision for getting any bigger than this. But for whatever reason, i think the v cs look at those companies and say, we've given up. We're probably not ont ake that much money on these companies. It's best to at least save time and not waste any time.
