Psalm forty eight is yet another song of zion, another one of my favourite hymns in our hymn book. Elevation, hill, holy hill, mountain of the lord. And that beautiful hymn written by edward partridge, if i remember correctly, first bishop of the church hthat's what he's trying to build, and trying to get the saints to build too. The joy of the whole earth is mount zion on the sides of the north, the city of the great king. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. Why would god want to hide zion when it's meant to be the place that all nations will gather to?
