What's the Flip Side of That?

In biblical times almost always left. A system would return itself to equilibrium given an opportunity, which isn't true in the modern circumstance. So what we have is a place where there's lots of stuff that is am conservative, that there's a very good and often hidden reason that we should preserve. But then there are some places where we'd actually have to upgrade the wisdom cause it doesn't fit modern circumstances. And yet, all too often we will criticize a tradition for being dumb when we don't understand what made it work well enough. We throw something out that was actually worth not throwing out.
