Sally Kohn: Heroin has this important role in our society. It helps us to define us and them. We can persecute these people who use heroine because they are somehow morally less than we are. She says the key research funding agencies of the government, national istute on drug abuse is just not interested in finding this sort of information out.Kohn: I think it's a lot bigger than nida. The people who do drug treatment, they are so tet in this is well, they have come out really strongly against someone saying that you can use heroine occasionally.
